Udoh was in LA with the Milwaukee Bucks to play the Clippers and after team meetings had some down time to jet over to Studio City and meet Betty White. A lifelong dream Udoh had been seeking a meet up since joining the NBA two years ago. The meeting was great and Udoh as floored to finally meet and have time to talk with the actress. Taking to twitter Udoh expressed, “Mission Accomplished” and was grateful for the meeting.

Udoh presented White with a signed team jersey and posed for a few photos before heading back to the LA Staples center for that’s nights game. The 6’10″ giant towered over White inictures but it was clear that she had the upper hand handling Udoh.

NFL News

Miami Dolphin Richard Marshall gives Birthday Surprise to Local Grade School Student in Miami Gardens

What does a NFL player do before he goes into season ending surgery? He surprises a Facebook fan at Brentwood Elementary (Miami Gardens, FL) for his birthday with a cake, autographed jersey and tickets to this weekends game for the family! A local student Chad Plaisir messaged Richard Marshall on his Facebook page with a simple request, “I am your biggest fan in the universe… will you come to my school for my birthday and surprise me?”

“Absolutely!” Richard Marshall and his family said when he saw the post and his management team got to work. On Tuesday, just hours before Richard was scheduled in LA for back surgery due to an NFL injury he visited the school. While there he visited with teachers and left a surprise of gifts and good will for the student with the help of Principal Jackson at Brentwood Elementary School.

Due to the election, students were out for the day, but birthday cake and Jersey were left for Chad and a video message posted on Facebook and twitter was made for Chad at the school. (All items were presented to Chad the following day)

Richard’s message to Chad and the students at the school is to keep hitting the books, make sure their uniforms are worn every day and that they don’t let small incidents lead to heated tempers, fights and class disruption. Bullying and flared tempers are also a big challenge and Marshall vowed to come back after his recovery to address the students at the school personally.

All these items are challenges at the school that the teachers and staff deal with daily. Chad has shown a great deal of improvement in these areas and was identified as a gifted student and is now in the gifted student program at the school. Marshall will spend the rest of the season and offseason in sports rehab and is expected to make a full recovery leading into next season with the Miami Dolphins.
