Former Baylor Basketball Players Perry Jones and Quincy Acy will be at The Elite Cafe in Waco this Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30PM for a fan appreciation celebration and NBA Draft send off party.
The Elite Cafe, located at 2132 S Valley Mills Drive Waco, Texas is hosting the send off which will allow fans to meet and greet Acy and Jones, take pictures and get autographs. Jones, Acy and The Elite Cafe want to show their support of the Baylor fans with this event.
Perry Jones ( Twitter @Perry_Jones1 ) is headed to the NBA Draft and in many draft forecasts ranked a top 10 pick.
Jones has incredible length for a wing player with a 7’2.5” wingspan. His NBA position is on the wing as his perimeter skills – notably ball handling, lateral foot speed and athleticism – are phenomenal. He can shoot the three, or pull up off the dribble, but is much better when attacking the basket. Perry loves to work from the top of the key and take his man off the dribble, getting into the lane where he can use his size. He has a tendency to take on two and three defenders at a time but is great at initiating contact and squaring up for one-handed runners and floaters to finish near the rim, when he’s not throwing down highlight dunks. Jones shows an aggressiveness and emotional fire that scouts like to see in players with this much potential.
Quincy Acy ( Twitter @QuincyAcy ) is headed to the NBA Draft and expected to be drafted.

Quincy concluded his stellar Baylor career as the second player in program history ranked in the Top 10 in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and FG% (Brian Skinner). Established Baylor record for career games played (139) and career Big 12 games played (66). Finished career 2nd in blocked shots (177), 3rd in FG% (60.2), 4th in minutes played (3,488), 5th in rebounding (828), 5th in blocks per game (1.27), 5th in personal fouls (355), 8th in FT attempts (496), 9th in FG made (503), 9th in FT made (351) and 10th in scoring (1,360).
